Country Girl Weekend

We had the best weekend ever!  We spent the whole weekend back in my hometown of Brookville and each day was full of fun activities.  We headed that way Friday after Ian got off work and my sister and brother along with their spouses came for the weekend as well!  As soon as we arrived, Emersyn had the biggest smile on her face and honestly she did not stop smiling all weekend!

A few of her very favorite activities included- hauling ass down the long drive way- looking back constantly to see if anyone was going to stop her, feeding the fish, looking over the pond and fountain, and taking rides on the ranger to look at the animals.  I mean girl was wiped out after just one night of fun- she slept until 9:00 the next morning!!!! Gotta love that!!!

Saturday the boys were all in a golf tournament, so the girls had a fun pool day at my Aunt Karen's house.  This is turning into a tradition- last year we did the same thing.  It was fun to see how much the kids grow over a year.  Here a snap shot of my cousins Amanda and Kristina, their kiddos Carter and Grady with Eme and I.

Summer life if GOOD- floating in the water while being fed a Popsicle!!

After our pool day, we went up to the golf course to see how the boys did in the tournament and have dinner.  The boys won the tournament for the second year- very exciting stuff!  Emersyn loved just walking around with one of the golf balls.

We ended the weekend with a wonderful day out on the boat.  Emersyn loved to look at the water and have the breeze in her hair.  She really was awesome all weekend!  

We LOVE summer- it is as simple as that!
