Fall Fun

We have had a really nice fall here in Indiana- warmer weather, sunny days, and trees changing around us.  I couldn't wait to do some classic fall actvities this year with Emersyn.  She is really fun right now at 19 months.  First up was the pumpkin patch.  Emersyn loved playing with the straw and taking a tractor ride to pick a pumpkin.

Next up was an evening at the Indianapolis Zoo Boo.  We went with our great friends who also have a little girl just a few months younger than Emersyn.  It was a bit cold and rainy, but we sure made the best of it and had a great time.

We said, "Emersyn, give Ellie a kiss" and she was like- "yep done!!"

Emersyn's favorite animal at the zoo... Ellie dressed like a duck!! haha

Last on our fall list was a football game.  We had a great time with friends and family watching the Colts take a win over the Bengals- especially since our group was a divided bunch!
Hope you are all checking off all those fun fall activities you have in mind.  Not sure about anyone else but I am DREADING winter!!  Soaking in every sunny day this fall has to offer!

Emersyn's Playroom Reveal!

FINALLY!!!!  The playroom is complete and ready to be shared with not only Eme but all of you as well.  Emersyn does really love playing down there!

I love the way it all turned out!  With a base of black and white with fun pops of color, I think it is a perfect mix for my little lady.

A shout out to my hubs for helping with the chalkboard wall.  I painted the bottom part of the wall with chalkboard paint, and he did a great job of adding a molding around it!  A perfect space for Eme to draw

Wire picture hanger to showcase all of Emersyn's creativity and perfect little metal containers to hold art supplies.  (source: IKEA)

A perfect little craft table, just the right height for her to sit at and get in and out of the chair on her own.  (source: IKEA)

sources: mint metal shelf- Home Goods, Owl- Pier 1, Chalkboard art- For the Love of Letters

Loving this little reading nook!

Baskets for all the toys!  Black circles are small chalkboards so I can label what is inside each.

I can see lots of fun playing times ahead in this room.  If you have any question about where anything in the room came from please let me know!  I had so much fun creating this fun space for my favorite girl.
