The Office is Officially Complete

Well this office project definitely took longer than we first thought it would.  We really hoped to have it finished by early March but that turned into early April instead and that is normally how designing and completely a room goes.  Let's take a look at the progression from start to finish...

Remember the office the way it started.  By no means was it terrible- just kinda boring and way too much brown. 

First, I created a mood board for inspiration and began the design process with my sister from Jessica Stout Design. 

Then, we had wood paneling added to the walls as well as crown molding for a more traditional look.  We selected a darker grasscloth for the top half of the walls and collected furniture and accessories from a vast range of stores.  Check out those steps in these past posts:

The final step to all of this was putting the room together with all the items we purchased along the way.  I love seeing a room finally come together!  

WELCOME TO OUR NEW OFFICE...

Well there you have it- our office! We love it and have been using it so much more now that we both like the feeling we get in the room.  I am happy to have it finished before the nice weather and outside projects begin... fire pit for summer nights!
